Our Mission
Jesus went to those who found themselves living on the margins of society. He met people at the point of their need, and loved them where they were. The Holy Spirit was upon him. He preached Good News to the poor, restored sight to the blind, set free those who were held captive to their fears and afflictions, and proclaimed that the favor of God was toward those who would believe in Him. He shared the message of repentance and salvation in the fields and the streets. He shattered the conventional religious assumptions of his day, by reaching out to the hopeless and desperate who reached out to Him. He has called us to do the same by sharing his life and love with people wherever we go.
Mission PartnersBy partnering with churches and ministries we are able to provide encouragement, prayer and support, as we share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those living on the margins of societies and communities. |
Caring for the Least LFTN has always had a commitment to sharing the love of God with the most vulnerable among us, especially children. |
Empowering WomenThrough teaching, preaching and conferences, we seek to share the message of God's love in Christ. LFTN continues to focus on encouraging women to grow in their faith and their identity as daughters of God. |
Highlights From Fiji Ministry
Brother Mike on the Islands of Fiji. He preached and taught God's Word on islands, in villages in large gatherings, small groups and in conferences. The mighty hand of God moved in powerful ways among the people. Many lives and hearts were touched by the Spirit of the Lord. It was a powerful and beautiful time of ministry. Many thanks to the pastors and brothers and sisters in Fiji who arranged for Mike's visit. God's grace was poured out in abundance. Plans are being made now for his return to Fiji and for ministry on other islands in the region. We remember Isaiah 42:12, "Let them give glory to the Lord and declare His praise in the islands." We saw this verse come to fulfillment as many people were blessed by a visitation of the Presence of God in the services. The Lord is at work in a great way in our world. Light For the Nations is grateful to be a part of what God is doing among the nations! |
Light For The Nations Ministries is working with pastors and churches across our world to reach those who have not yet heard or experienced the message of hope found in Jesus Christ .
Light For The Nations helps bring together pastors and church leaders from across denominational lines to focus on the people in their communities who most need the life changing message of the Gospel.

“At a seminary in Bangalore, India, a nun said to Mother Teresa, ‘Mother, you are spoiling the poor people by giving them things free. They are losing their human dignity.’ When everyone was quiet, Mother said, ‘No one spoils as much as God himself. See the wonderful gifts he has given us freely. All of you here have no glasses, yet you all can see. If God were to take money for your sight, what would happen? Continually we are breathing and living on oxygen that we do not pay for. What would happen if God were to say, ‘If you work four hours, you will get sunshine for two hours?’ How many of us would survive then?” Mother Teresa, In The Heart of The World

Instruct
“You are light for the world. A city cannot be hidden when it is located on a hill. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket. Instead, everyone who lights a lamp puts it on a lamp stand. Then its light shines on everyone in the house. In the same way let your light shine in front of people. Then they will see the good that you do and praise your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16 |
Impact
Ask yourself the question today, "Is there someone in my family, community, neighborhood, city, or village that needs to see a visible and tangible expression of God's love? Perhaps they have been overwhelmed by the darkness of despair and depression, loneliness, addiction, or grief. We can hold back and assume someone else will be a light for them, to help lead them out of the darkness. Or, we can be the light. As followers of Christ, the question is not "Can I," but "Will I," be the light? Jesus said, "You are the light of the world."
